WE love this quote, hhmm im a great fan of you get back what you give out, so why waste your precious time and energy on the negative when you gain so much more from the positive, so as the song says ” be happy “

Be not angry that you cannot make others as you wish them to be, since you cannot make yourself as you wish to be.  

This  quote worked well for me today ! I need to find a career that is somewhat more full time than my present occupation and while i can sit an remonstrate with myself on how the world treats so unfairly..as the maker of my own destiny perhaps I need to put the power of positive thinking into top gear and hit fast forward……..i am the maker of my own destiny

Imagine if we listened as hard as we talk !! with all the fear and unhappiness around us at the moment taking the time to sit down open our ears and really listen to what out partner, friend or work place colleagues are trying to say could make the difference to their day and the kickback for you is feeling you have made a difference in someone’s day…

Bitterness is a strange emotion. It hurts the one who holds onto it, but doesn’t really affect the object of the bitterness at all!

This quote kinda got me thinking about how sad and bitter a lot of people in the world are at the moment and how true is the quote…you can spend all your time being bitter and twisted or.. you can face up to whats happening and try and improve your situation, i guess that is easier said than done in a lot of situations today, but getting out taking a walk, talk to a friend, scream and shout, anything is better than the lonely sad alternative of being bitter and alone…

Trouble is part of your life, and if you don’t share it, you don’t give the person who loves you enough chance to love you enough. 

The only reason why we ask other people how their weekend was is so we can tell them about our own weekend.
